5. Norman Teague Design Studios
Happy Returns Studio was thrilled to work with Norman Teague Design Studios to help them realize their vision for the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale. Norman Teague Design Studios was commissioned by curators Tizziana Baldenebro and Lauren Leving to produce a series of recycled plastic vessels for “Everlasting Plastics” in the American Pavilion at the Biennale. Happy Returns Studio invited Norman Teague Design Studios to use our custom built plastics recycling facility and industrial fabrication equipment to produce their work for the Biennale.
Happy Returns is committed to working with post consumer recycled materials wherever possible and to decrease our overall impact on the environment by finding creative ways to reuse the by-products of our studio practice. Working with Norman Teague Design Studios on this project was a great way to align our values with exciting and innovative client projects.
